GIBEX projects have enjoyed substantial funding from U.S.-based institutions, such as the U.S. National Institutes of Health, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, City Univesrity of New York and Rutgers University. GIBEX has also received generous funding from the Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change Research, an intergovernmental network of 22 countries, as well as from private foundations such as Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and TREE Institute International. Some of the funded programs have focused on crops and medicinal plants widely available in the U.S., while others have funded scientific capacity building and natural product research in developing countries all over the globe. We are very thankful to all of our sponsors for supporting our mission.
